Our 4th classes have safely returned from an unforgettable trip to England!✈️
After an exciting week full of new experiences, friendships, and discoveries, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Austria. The journey home was filled with many memories, happy faces, and suitcases packed with souvenirs.
Below, you can find some impressions from our return journey as well as feedback from our students, who share their personal highlights and experiences from this wonderful trip.
Our host family was very nice. We watched TV with our host brother, Bardebee, and went for a walk with our host father, Tim, and their dog, Barrel. Our room was great, too. My favourite attraction was the London Dungeon. It all seemed so real — I liked it! The Mary Rose Museum was my highlight because it was absolutely interesting. I enjoyed England a lot because it was fun, and I liked spending time with the students from Reichraming. Our teachers, Mrs Lichtenberger and Mrs Giedenbacher, were quite relaxed, too. It was an exciting trip! (Thomas, 4a)
My host family was very friendly, and the food they provided was excellent. My favourite sight was the London Dungeon because it was really scary and interesting. The highlight of the trip was driving down the Thames in a boat and taking pictures of Tower Bridge. All in all, in was a great trip to London and we had a lot of fun. (Moritz, 4a)
Personally, I really enjoyed the week because we saw many different places, like the Royal Pavilion and London. Our host family was also really friendly, and the food was quite okay. My favourite sight, and the highlight of the week, was Arundel Castle. The big castle was absolutely impressive and I also loved the Gothic cathedral of Arundel. (Clemens, 4b)
Our host family was really friendly. They cooked absolutely delicious meals. Our room wasn’t that tidy, but that didn’t matter. My favourite attraction was the London Dungeon because it was a bit spooky, but really funny. The flight was my highlight because it was my first time travelling by plane. Although I was quite nervous, it was a great experience that I will never forget. All in all, it was a nice week with my classmates, and I would do it again. (Emelie, 4a)
I was very lucky with my host family because they were extremely friendly. The food was also better than I had expected. My favourite sight was Tower Bridge, which we visited by boat. However, the highlight of my trip was the London Dungeon. Although it was quite scary, it was great fun. All in all, it was a nice experience. (Lisa, 4b)
Our host family was lovely. They were polite and made sure we got to school safely. My favourite sight was the London Eye because it was quite impressive. The highlight of my time in England was visiting the London Dungeon. It was a bit scary but also funny. All in all, it was a great week. (Emma, 4b)
The highlight of my England week was the day we drove to London for King Charle’s birthday party. Another highlight was visiting the London Dungeon because it was extremely scary. (Stefan, 4a)
